Selkath (language)

Selkath, also known as Selkatha, was the language of the Selkath. It was also one language spoken by the Rakatan guardian droid that Revan encountered while searching for the Star Map on Dantooine. Non-native speakers included Dreddon, Bastila Shan and Revan himself.

When Revan and Bastila Shan entered the temple containing the Star Map, the Rakatan guardian droid cycled through the languages it was programmed with until both Jedi recognized and understood an ancient form of Selkatha. After this, it communicated with them in the language.
