- "It's the Emperor! In an embarrassing selfie!"
- ―Petez to Luke Skywalker and Han Solo
A selfie was a type of holographic picture. On Corellia, a selfie of Emperor Palpatine without pants was stolen out of the Empire's possession by the human child Petez. Imperial Stormtroopers tried to arrest them, but the child was able to escape with the help of Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. After Petez showed them Palpatine's embarrassing selfie, Luke broke out in laughter. Han sent the picture to Leia Organa, who displayed it to amused Rebel Alliance members aboard the starship Home One. Leia then sent it to HoloNet News, who showed the selfie in a breaking news report, stating that Rebel forces were able to catch the Emperor with his pants down. Emperor Palpatine watched the report in his Throne Room. When Darth Vader and two Royal Guards laughed at the report, an enraged Palpatine threatened to use Force lightning against them if they wouldn't stop.[1]
