Sector nine was a sector of the Rebel Alliance's Sunspot Prison.[1] During Eneb Ray's assault on Sunspot Prison,[2] Leia Organa held escaped prisoners in the sector. Ray deactivated the sun shields in the sector, and the prisoners were burned to death by the star.[1]
