Sector 47 was an area of space within the Endor system. During the Battle of Endor in the Galactic Civil War, the Galacitc Empire's Star Destroyers were located in Sector 47 and ambushed the Rebel Fleet. Captain Verrack[2] informed Admiral Gial Ackbar about the location of the Imperial vessels.[1]

Sector 47 was not mentioned in the 1983 novelization of Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. Instead, the Mon Calamari controller mentions Sector RT-23 and Sector PB-4.[3]
