The Second Skin Armor was a type of armored clothing that provided moderate protection while allowing for flexibility and easy movement. Unlike most other armors, it was extremely thin and could be concealed beneath looser, non-protective clothing, making it nearly undetectable. However, its lightweight design came at a high cost without offering significantly greater protection.[1]

The Second Skin Armor was first mentioned in Desperate Allies, a roleplaying supplementary sourcebook for the Star Wars Roleplaying series that was published by Fantasy Flight Games in 2015.[1]
