Search for Asajj Ventress

Between 22 BBY and 19 BBY,[2] a search for Asajj Ventress was undertaken by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. For the search, fellow Jedi Aayla Secura loaned Kenobi her starfighter and astromech droid R4-G9,[1] a droid who often helped Kenobi but always in moments of sheer happenstance.[3]

Behind the scenes

The search for Asajj Ventress was first mentioned in the 2016 canon reference book Star Wars Character Encyclopedia: Updated and Expanded, written by Simon Beecroft and Pablo Hidalgo.[1] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Obi-Wan Kenobi notably undertook a search for Asajj Ventress in the comic series Star Wars: Obsession.[4]
