Scythe squadron appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts,^[1] prior to its closure on December 15, 2011.^[2] Scythe squadron was added to the game with the release of the expansion pack Jump to Lightspeed on October 27, 2004.^[1]
