This article covers a subject from a Star Wars: Visions story that Lucasfilm declared is set in an alternate history within a reimagined galaxy.

The Screecher was a female Sith that inhabited a cave called Screecher's Reach on[1] a planet[3]. She was known for her screeching, hence the name. In local folklore, she was thought to be a ghost, or only a figment of one's imagination.[1]

Biography

The soon-to-be Sith apprentice Daal was tasked with killing the Screecher by the Sith Mother. Daal traveled to Screecher's Reach with three of her friends. They entered the cave, and the Screecher made her presence known. Baython, Keena, and Quinn ran away in fear, but Daal stayed behind to fight. The Screecher attacked Daal, and Daal tried to escape by climbing out of the cave, but the Screecher caught her by the ankle and attempted to pull her back down. Daal used the Force to dislodge a large rock from the wall, and dropped it on the Screecher, knocking her lightsaber out of her hand and throwing her to the ground. The Screecher attempted to regain possession of her lightsaber, but Daal picked it up, and, with some struggle, held it back from her. Daal ignited the lightsaber and struck her down.[1]
