The Scarlet Dawn was a quadrant of space located in the Bright Jewel system,[1] in the shadow of the Sanguinus Veil Nebula.[2]

During the Galactic Civil War, the Scarlet Dawn was controlled by the Black Sun pirates and was the most dangerous quadrant of the Bright Jewel system.[1] It contained the Salient Trinity, that consisted of the Darkveil Eclipse and the Dual Moons, the three Black Sun starfighter bases in the system.[3] The Trinity was attacked by Dartas Pytin's Car'das starfighters during the Battle of Tansarii Point Station.[3][4]
