Scallops were a species of aquatic, mollusk-like invertebrates. Their shells could often be found scattered along the beaches of Talus.[1]

Scallops were dynamic creatures in the 2003 massively multiplayer online role-playing game Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided, prior to the game's closure on December 15, 2011.[1][2] They were first identified as scallops in the game's directory tree files, with the texture file listed as shor_seashell_scallops_a1.dds.[3]
