The Santhe Corporation,[3] also known simply as Santhe, was a company that worked with Rothana Heavy Engineering to produce the Low Altitude Assault Transport line of transports, including the LAAT/le patrol gunship.[2] The company also heavily invested in the research of Gungan technology.[3] In Coronet City on the planet Corellia, it co-owned the factory Coronet-SFS-14 with Sienar Fleet Systems.[1]
Behind the scenes
The Santhe Corporation was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 2018 reference book Solo: A Star Wars Story The Official Guide, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo.[1] The company originated in Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the 1994 table top supplement Star Wars Miniatures Battles Companion, which was written by Stephen Crane.[4]
