Sandstorm was a fathier who was a competitor in the Canto Cup, a fathier race that took place in the city Canto Bight on the planet Cantonica.[2] The fathier was born around 2 ABY,[1] standing 286 centimeters tall and weighing 902 kilograms by the time of the Canto Cup[2] in 3 ABY.[1] Salvo had brown fur and black eyes.[2]
During that year's[1] Sandstorm, Salvo partook in a race that the scoundrel Kay Vess bet upon while watching via hologram.[2]

Sandstorm appeared in the 2024 Massive Entertainment video game Star Wars Outlaws. The fathier is one of several that can be randomly featured in Canto Fathier Racing, an optional activity.[2]
