Sand-kivers were a type of pest that appeared to be able to sense trouble a few seconds before it occurred. In a conversation with the Jedi Exile, the Hunter-Killer assassin droid, HK-47, once compared these creatures to Jedi, with regards to their similar ability of detecting future difficulties.
