The Saltwheel Playhouse was a building located in Myrra, the capital city of the Outer Rim planet Akiva by the time of the Imperial Era. At some point, the branch of an old-growth jarwal tree fell onto the building's roof.[1] In 4 ABY,[2] the rebel pilot Norra Wexley traveled through the streets of Myrra and noticed the branch still present on the Saltwheel Playhouse's roof, years after it had fallen.[1]

The Saltwheel Playhouse appeared in Aftermath, a 2015 novel written by Chuck Wendig as the first installment in Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy.[1]
