Salteract was a celestial body[3] located in the Salteract system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Rayter sector.[1] At some point by the time of the Galactic Civil War, the crew of a II-xC Maintenance/Broadcast Ship of the Galactic Empire stored into the ship's computer system a flight plan from Salteract to the planet Narg.[3]
Behind the scenes
Salteract was introduced in The Abduction, a 1992 roleplaying adventure authored by Chuck Truett and published by West End Games for use with Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Salteract system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square J-19.[2]
