Sacritte was a Governor of the Galactic Empire. After the Empire informed the galactic populace that a supposed mining disaster was the cause of the destruction of Jedha City, when in fact it was a test for the new superweapon, the Death Star, Governor Sacritte conducted an interview with TriNebulon News, blaming illegal mining as the cause for the deaths of hundreds of thousands and the need for more regulations.[1]
