A Saber Trainer was an expert in the ways of the lightsaber and instructed other individuals in its usage. During the First Order-Resistance War, several Saber Trainers served aboard the Halcyon, an MPO-1400 Purgill-class star cruiser operated by Chandrila Star Line.[1]
Behind the scenes
Saber Trainers are set to appear in the interactive hotel experience Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser,[1] scheduled to open in 2022 at the Walt Disney World Resort.[2] In audition sides provided by The Walt Disney Company for the roles, the Saber Trainers mention and directly quote Dejammy Shallon,[3] a character created by Greg Rucka in his novel Guardians of the Whills.[4]
