That year,[1] Sabacc Shift competed in a race that was watched via hologram, and bet upon, by the scoundrel Kay Vess. Prior to the race, the fathier shook off his nerves.[2]

Behind the scenes

Sabacc Shift appeared in a hologram in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws, developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. He was one of the fathiers that can randomly feature in the optional Canto Fathier Racing activity. In most races, the six fathiers are assigned a random jockey and a random symbol. As such, a canonical pairing has not been established.[2]
