A droid assisted the former handmaiden Sabé during the Imperial Era. The droid accompanied Sabé to collect[1] the thief[2] Warba Calip from Sergia[1] and then to Caranthanax B, where the former handmaiden intended to test whether the Jedi Luke Skywalker had a dark side. The droid assisted Sabé in pretending to kidnap Calip in an attempt to provoke Skywalker.[2]

The droid resembled a B1-series battle droid and the B1-derived monster droid model, albeit with a head similar[2] to the L-1g general purpose droid.[3]
