S-5V3 was a protocol droid that served the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The droid had blue plating with a gold Alliance starbird adorned on its torso. After the Rebel Alliance fleet split following the Battle of Hoth, S-5V3 was aboard the flagship Home One. The droid summoned pilot Wedge Antilles for a meeting with the Contessa about rebuilding his squadron.[1]
