Rya was a celestial body[3] situated in the Rya system, a part of the Outer Rim Territories' Kwymar sector.[1] It was the homeworld of the Human Cinto Alaras. He went on to study at the Carosi XII Academy of Medicine on[3] the planet[4] Carosi XII of[3] the neighboring[5] Nembus sector,[6] from which he eventually received a doctor's degree seven standard months prior to a point[3] in 2 ABY.[7]
Behind the scenes
Rya was mentioned in Alliance Intelligence Reports, a 1995 sourcebook for West End Games' Star Wars: The Roleplaying Game.[3] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas subsequently placed the Rya system, and therefore the celestial body itself, in grid square P-4.[2]
