- "He's got skills that could take a half-dozen tin cans and turn them into a Death Star…but he'd sell his own mother into slavery to pay for his next fancy gizmo."
- ―Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra's description of Ruen
A female individual was the mother of Ruen, a human male who was a skilled technician. Doctor Chelli Lona Aphra came to know Ruen, claiming that the technician would be willing to sell his mother into enslavement to fund a project. The assassin droid 0-0-0 recorded Aphra's statement, playing it for Ruen when he and the "blastomech" prototype BT-1 journeyed to Ruen's workshop for repairs on the Wreck Belt[1] of the planet[2] Lotho Minor[1] at some point between 0 ABY and 1 ABY.[3] Hearing Aphra's statement, Ruen determined that the two droids belonged to her.[1]
