The Royal Box[1] was the most opulent viewing box of the Mos Espa Grand Arena. It was reserved for the ruling Hutts, especially for Jabba the Hutt, the grandmaster host of the Boonta Eve Classic.[2] On the backside of the box, darkened windows concealed secret deal-making rooms. Furthermore it featured floor panels with hidden trapdors, a dungeon, a slave entrance, a cooled private banquet room and multiple Hutt clan banners. On the front side awnings shade Jabba's personal staff and spice supply. Jabba's followers were seated around the box on slave-cleaned seats. In 32 BBY Jabba and Gardulla the Hutt were present in the box for the Boonta Eve Classic.[1] Jabba opened the event with the starter gong which was placed within the box.[3]
