The Royal Anthem of Alderaan was the anthem of the Alderaanian monarchy.[1] An influential Core World, Alderaan was ruled by the House of Organa, a royal family considered to be one of the the galaxy's Elder Houses.[2][3] After the destruction of Alderaan by the Death Star, the Royal Anthem of Alderaan was considered an indigenous song of a lost civilization.[1][4]

The Royal Anthem of Alderaan was first mentioned in the 2021 novel Victory's Price: An Alphabet Squadron Novel, written by Alexander Freed, as the title of the novel's seventh chapter. All of the chapter titles in the first part of the novel are "indigenous songs of lost civilizations."[1]
