In 44 ABY, he held the rank of captain and was present to view the destruction of the Mount Lyss Meteorological Station following Wraith Squadron's escape from the planet Vandor-3. After the destruction of the Station, General Thaal ordered Rossin to retrieve the telemetry of the shuttle from which the Wraiths escaped on and their X-wing escorts, which Rossin complied.
