Rorr'hn of Drgi,[1] who shared their name with the Drgi system of the Expansion Region's Tokamac sector,[2] served as a Jedi Knight[1] at some point after 1 BBY[3] and piloted an X-wing starfighter,[1] a type of fighter used by the Rebel Alliance[4] and its successor organizations.[4][5]

Rorr'hn of Drgi was a Force-sensitive alien being. They had dark brown and tan skin and arms and legs with long claws. The Jedi also possessed a large beak-like protrusion under their gray eyes that constituted the bulk of their face, in addition to twin horns atop their head. Rorr'hn of Drgi wore a yellow-colored flight suit with an Alliance Starbird on it. They wielded a lightsaber with a yellow blade and piloted an X-wing starfighter.[1]

Behind the scenes

Rorr'hn of Drgi was created by Tom Whalen through the "Design An Alien" competition run in the Star Wars Galaxy Magazine.[1] The competition, launched in the magazine's third issue[6] in April 1995,[7] called for readers to create completely new alien species inspired by the original trilogy of Star Wars films. Whalen was twenty-one years old when they submitted their entry on Rorr'hn of Drgi, which was later published in the seventh issue[1] in April 1996,[8] under the "honorable mentions" section of the "16 and up" subdivision.[1] Lucasfilm employee Leland Chee, who maintains the Holocron continuity database, later stated that published material from the "Design An Alien" competition was considered canon with respect to the Star Wars Legends continuity.[9]
