The Rogue Assassin was an ex-Republic Advanced Recon Commando who began work as a hired gun. During an internal dispute between the Trade Federation and the Techno Union, the Rogue Assassin used the opportunity to take out key CIS officers. On Polis Massa, the Rogue Assassin fought through battle droid forces to locate and destroy six MagnaGuards. The Rogue Assassin was eventually hired by Alliance forces to eliminate six Clone Commanders stationed on Yavin 4. Fighting his former clone comrades, the Rogue Assassin was able to kill the commanders. By the time of the Galactic Empire, the Rogue Assassin was hired to hunt down groups of Imperial deserters on Dagobah and Mygeeto.[2]

The Rogue Assassin wore Phase I clone jet trooper armor adorned with green markings, and attached to his armor was a jetpack. He was armed with a blaster rifle and blaster pistol. The Rogue Assassin was also equipped with thermal detonators and a fusion cutter.[2]
Behind the scenes
The Rogue Assassin appeared in the PSP version of Star Wars: Battlefront II. The game's instruction manual establishes that the clone was a former ARC trooper.[2]
