Rogue 2[2] was an Incom Corporation[1] modified T-47 snowspeeder. Assigned to Rogue Squadron,[2] the vehicle was stationed at the Alliance's Echo Base on the ice planet Hoth.[4] Rogue 2 was assigned to be piloted by Zev Senesca[2] alongside gunner Kit Valent.[5]

Rogue 2 was the first snowspeeder to be successfully adapted to operate in Hoth's cold environment,[2] and was successfully deployed to search for the lost Commander Luke Skywalker and Captain Han Solo. Senseca flew Rogue 2 in a search pattern and successfully located the pair.[4] During the Battle of Hoth, Rogue 2 was part of the Alliance's snowspeeder counterattack[2] against the Galactic Empire's force of All Terrain Armored Transports.[4] Rogue 2 was shot down and destroyed during the battle.[4]
