A courtyard was used for the Rite of Ascension ceremony held by Mother Aniseya's coven of witches during the High Republic Era.[1] Sol, a Jedi Master, and "the Stranger", a Sith Lord, engaged in a lightsaber duel in the courtyard that resulted in Sol's death at the hands of Verosha Aniseya.[2]
