The Rieekan Ribbon for Bravery in Battle was an award issued by the Resistance that shared its name[1] with Carlist Rieekan, a general of the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War who eventually joined the Resistance himself.[2] Commander Poe Dameron received the award for his part in rescuing Admiral Gial Ackbar from the First Order[1] at some point between 31 ABY and 32 ABY.[3] Admiral Ushos O. Statura wrote the citation issuing the award to Dameron, who kept a copy of the letter in his flight log which he compiled after the Battle of Starkiller Base[1] in 34 ABY.[4]

Furthermore, the novel Force Collector features the arm of C-3PO, which means that C-3PO 1 must take place some time before Force Collector. Because Star Wars: Timelines places the events of Force Collector in 32 ABY, C-3PO 1, including the rescue of Admiral Ackbar, takes place between 31 and 32 ABY.
