- "The Temple beacon."
"Yes. Any surviving Jedi might still obey the recall, and be killed." - ―Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi, after the initiation of Order 66
Return-to-Coruscant was a transmission activated by Darth Vader during Operation: Knightfall through the Jedi beacon. The code - an audio signal consisting of a series of accelerating beeps - would alert Jedi that the Clone Wars were over, and to return to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. In truth, the code was a plot to draw in and kill any Jedi that survived Order 66. The code would be deactivated by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Yoda during their infiltration of the temple, with Kenobi altering the beacon to send out a "run and hide" code instead.
