In 5 ABY, during the Trioculus affair, a team of operatives from the New Republic rescued Princess Leia Organa from the Moffship, which was hovering above the planet Tatooine. Organa had been abducted by the former self-proclaimed Emperor Trioculus, who hoped to force her into marriage. The operatives replaced Organa with a Human replica droid called Leia Organa II, who killed Trioculus with her laser eyes.

Behind the scenes

The rescue of Leia Organa appeared in the 1993 junior novel Queen of the Empire, written by Paul and Hollace Davids.[4]
