"Rescue from Jabba's Palace" is a short story written by Brooke Dworkin with art by Pilot Studio that adapts events from the film Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi. The story was first published in Star Wars Galactic Adventures[3] on July 20, 2015 by Disney–Lucasfilm Press[2] as "Escape from Jabba's Palace" and has since been reprinted in multiple additional storybooks by the publisher as "Rescue from Jabba's Palace."[1]

The story re-uses illustrations by Pilot Studio that were previously published in the World of Reading book Rescue from Jabba's Palace by Michael Siglain.[9] However, Siglain's original text does not appear, and Dworkin's writing is wholly original to the short story. The text and illustrations were slightly changed when it was republished in Star Wars Galactic Stories: 7 Stories from a Galaxy Far, Far Away....[4]
