Repulsorlift motors were components used in several fields. They were used as components in droids and were included in Ulqib MicroTronics' droid customization kit. When installed, droid were able to use the repulsorlift motor to move around. Repulsorlift motors were also built into the repulsor throwing razor. They enhanced the range and damage of the weapon, and were a part of the retrieval system in tandem with a homing transponder.[1]
An Imperial asteroid base had a facility dedicated to producing low-yield repulsorlift motors. The motors were intended for use in the collector-repulsor array gravitic superweapon that the Empire was constructing.[2]
