Repulsor-coil heaters were components used on Incom Corporation's snowspeeders. Alliance technicians had to add additional repulsor-coil heaters to the snowspeeders to adapt them to the cold environment of the planet Hoth. The heaters were used to keep the vehicle's motors from freezing.[1]
