Republic Emissary

A Republic Emissary was an official who knew how to find At Attin and to get through the Barrier. Wendle requested that Wim, Fern, KB, and Neel find a Republic Emissary to help them get through the Barrier as it could be very dangerous to travel through. Starships transporting emissaries to At Attin to collect newly-minted credits transmitted a signal that disarmed the electric mines until they passed through. Wendle warned the children to be careful whom they told this information. He added that they were not supposed to find out about this information until they graduated.^[1]

After Jod Na Nawood heard Wendle's hologram message to the children, Nawood snuck onboard the Onyx Cinder while the children and SM-33 prepared the Cinder for take off from Nawood's ship. Once the Onyx Cinder landed in a city on At Attin's surface, Nawood posed as a Republic Emissary and gained access to one of the planet's vaults.^[1]
