Recon troopers where a type of clone trooper that specialized in reconnaissance missions. A part of the Galactic Republic's Grand Army of the Republic,[2] Recon troopers wore white Phase II clone trooper armor and used a black blaster. Their helmets had dark red markings and a dark red Recon trooper emblem was emblazoned on both the trooper's chest piece and helmet, identifying them as Recon troopers.[1]
