Recon Company was a military unit of the Galactic Republic during the Galactic War, trained by Gavon Kroan. Stationed at the Drift Hills Republic depot on Hoth, Kroan send the First Squad of the Company on a routine check into nearby caves, where the men were overwhelmed and captured in frozen ice by the wampas. When the men did not return in time, Kroan got worried and asked a skilled Republic operative to rescue the soldiers. Thanks to his timely actions, all men were returned to base safely.[1]
