Recoil-damping stock

A recoil-damping stock was a modification that could be added to the butt of a blaster or projectile rifle's stock to lessen the recoil generated when the weapon was fired. Zam Wesell's KiSteer 1284 projectile rifle was equipped with a recoil-damping stock.^[1]
