A rebel base was located on the planet Paucris Major. In 3 BBY, it served as a location where ships that would eventually comprise the rebel fleet were being built and refurbished. When Princess Leia Organa learned the Galactic Empire intended to bring "peace" to Paucris, Organa was tasked by Mon Mothma and Breha Organa to travel to Paucris and warn the base, resulting in the evacuation of the planet and destruction of the orbital facilities.[1]
