The Rebel Scout Speeder was a combat speeder used by the Rebel Alliance. It sported a portable blaster cannon and could carry four Rebel troopers.[1]

History

At some point, a Rebel Scout Speeder was present on Tatooine where it encountered an Imperial dropship.[1][2]

Characteristics

The Rebel Scout Speeder could hold four people, one of which was on the blaster cannon turret. The speeder's sole armament was the turret, which could detach and leave the vessel, though without it the speeder was weaponless.[1]

The speeder had an open-cockpit, including on the turret, which means that the crew on board were at the mercy of enemy fire.[1]

Behind the scenes

The Rebel Scout Speeder was a LEGO model in the 7668 Rebel Scout Speeder set from 2008.[1] It then appeared in the 2014 mobile app LEGO Star Wars: Microfighters.[3] It then appeared as a LEGO model in the 40755 Imperial Dropship vs. Rebel Scout Speeder set from 2024.
