"If you want to be blown away by someone who can narrate a million different characters with ungodly specificity, listen to Marc Thompson narrate the Star Wars series. He is a vocal beast."
―Rebecca Soler, about Marc Thompson in an interview[2]

Rebecca Soler (born August 20)[1] is a Cuban American voice artist who is most well known for voicing various lead characters in the Pokémon franchise and narrating the audio editions of Marissa Meyer's Cinder series.[2]

Soler first began working on the Star Wars franchise when providing additional voices in BioWare's 2011 Star Wars: The Old Republic video game.[3] In 2015, Soler and the voice artist Marc Thompson, narrated the audiobook of the junior novel A New Hope: The Princess, the Scoundrel, and the Farm Boy by Alexandra Bracken for Listening Library.[4] Prior to the announcement of Soler's involvement in the project, Soler stated in an interview with USA Today that her favorite audiobook narrator was Thompson.[2]

Soler later narrated Listening Library's audiobook of the 2017 young-adult novel Rebel Rising, authored by Beth Revis.[5] In 2019, Soler portrayed Jedi Master Yula Braylon in the Random House Audio audio drama Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott.[6]
