A re-entry capsule was a capsule used for protection from atmospheric re-entry. They were used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
History
Around 21 BBY, re-entry capsules housing modules of Trident-class assault ships were disguised as falling starship debris to infiltrate Kamino. General Grievous launched the capsules during the space battle over Kamino, and they landed in the ocean to be reassembled by Dark Acolyte Asajj Ventress's aqua droid crew for an assault on Tipoca City.
