Biography
- "Talk to him if you wish. He won't need you very long and you should get all the information you need within about 10 minutes."
- ―Anetia Kah'ryn, to an entertainer
Rauk Oenish was a wealthy and powerful man who resided in Mos Eisley after the Battle of Yavin. He also had connections with the criminal underworld.[1] In 1 ABY,[2] some of his associates got involved in a plot organized by Jabba the Hutt. The plan was to incite the Tusken Raiders to attack Mos Eisley in order to pressurize the mayor and eventually take control of the city.[1]
During this time, a Twi'lek entertainer by the name Anetia Kah'ryn got very concerned about criminal and Tusken activity around Mos Eisley. Being a client of Rauk Oenish, Kah'ryn knew a lot about the criminals and very important people frequenting Oenish. She therefore tasked novice entertainers to go to a party organized by Rauk Oenish in Mos Eisley in order to get information. The entertainers joined the party and performed with talent but without attracting attention on them. They thus managed to overhear some secret discussions and obtained details about Jabba's plot. Anetia Kah'ryn was finally able to discover the truth and expose the whole conspiracy to Mayor Mikdanyell Guh'rantt.[1]

Star Wars Galaxies: Rage of the Wookiees — Entertainer Quest: "The Entertainer's Life" on Tatooine
- ↑ The opening crawl of Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided dates the game to after the events of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope, and additionally, Serji-X Arrogantus, who died in Star Wars (1977) 10—the events of which The New Essential Chronology dates to 0 ABY—appears in the game. Therefore, at least a portion of Star Wars Galaxies must be set in that year. Furthermore, in the game Ruwan Tokai references the destruction of the Death Star as having occurred one year earlier, and Strongholds of Resistance also places the events of Galaxies' Chapter 9: "The Fury of Exar Kun" in 1 ABY. Lastly, while Chapter 11: "The Battle of Echo Base" features the Battle of Hoth—dated to 3 ABY by The New Essential Chronology—the developers have stated that the portrayal of that battle in the game is intentionally anachronistic. Therefore, the events of Star Wars Galaxies must span from 0 ABY to around 1 ABY.
