It shared its name with rathcana reedgrass, which grew in the savanna of Toshara.[1] In 3 ABY,[2] Squall Season was forecast to start early on Toshara by reporter Botto Fna of Holonet News Toshara's wind report, with major gusts expected in the direction of Rathcana and the settlement Jaunta's Hope due to a southerly wind that Fna expected to break over Pica Ridge later in the week.[1]
