A rapid cargo evacuation shute was a feature on vehicles allowing its users to rapidly dump their payloads. It was often used by smugglers to avoid being caught, it could mean the difference between jail time and slipping past the authorities another day. No corporation officially claimed to build products with this functionality.[1]
