Rak Jaren was a Human male who worked as a bounty hunter. He was a refugee from his homeworld of Subterrel. Nicknamed "Shadow Hunter," Jaren had a companion named Kellic.
Behind the scenes
Rak Jaren was the final name of the main protagonist in the early phases (before the planned protagonist changed to Boba Fett) of the cancelled LucasArts game Star Wars: 1313. Earlier in development, his name was Ty Gerra. His companion in the trailer was named Kellic. This information was all confirmed in a tweet by Matt Boland, who credited 1313's Creative Director, Dominic Robilliard, with the information. No other information is known.

Technically that was the last name he was given before it was changed to Boba. Sorry for the confusion, it was 8 YEARS AGO!" (backup link)
