"There was one night, after the raid on Ferrix—you were so happy, so energized. We lay in our bunk, and you talked for hours about all these adventures you'd had, long before the Nihil."
―Quin Carree, to Lourna Dee[1]

The raid on Ferrix was carried out during the High Republic Era by the Tempest of Tempest Runner Lourna Dee—a Twi'lek Nihil pirate—on[1] the Outer Rim planet[3] Ferrix[1] between 231 BBY and 230 BBY.[2] Aside from Dee, the Bivall pirate Quin Carree also participated in the raid.[1]

Later that night, following the raid, the two lovers laid in their bunk on Dee's ship, the Lourna Dee, where the Tempest Runner spent hours informing Carree of her life before she had joined the Nihil.[1] In 228 BBY,[4] Carree recalled the raid on Ferrix and the night she and the Twi'lek had spent together after it, noting Dee had been so happy and energized.[1]

Behind the scenes

The raid on Ferrix was mentioned in flashbacks in The High Republic: Tempest Breaker, a 2024 audio drama written by Cavan Scott and published as a part of the Star Wars: The High Republic multimedia project's[5] Phase III.[6] The capitalization of the event's name was later confirmed with the release of the audio drama's script in 2025.[1]
