A radar eye was a droid component used on Industrial Automaton's R-series astromech droids. R-series droids had a large circular Radar Eye on their domed head,[1] sharing space with the droid's photoreceptor.[2] The only R-series droid not to feature a radar eye was the R5-series, which replaced it with three separate photoreceptors.[1]
