R2-F4 was an R2-series astromech droid that operated during the time of the Galactic Civil War. Circa 1 ABY, the droid was under the command of Labsol Renuffi, a technician who worked in the Death Watch bunker on Endor. When a group of spacers entered the bunker, Renuffi tasked a member of the group with protecting R2-F4, so that the droid could fix the main exhaust ports.
